Dan
Thanks for the recipe. I lost the two I had. I only have one ramekin cup. I guess I'll need to buy some more. The ice cream is a must to eat this. It is so rich.

[I posted this message about three weeks ago, but have not seen it

distributed. Here it is again. -- Dan]

Fellow listers -- especially those who enjoyed the NFB Cruise last week.

Here is the recipe which was given to us all by George ("Opah"), the Maître

d' of the Marti Gras dining room on board the Inspiration.

Chocolate Melting Cake

Ingredients;

11 oz. Semi-sweet Chocolate

11 oz. Butter

7 Fresh eggs

3 oz Sugar

4 oz. Flour

Method:

Melt Chocolate and Butter.

Mix half of the eggs and sugar and whisk for a few minutes, then add the

flour. Then add the rest of the eggs.

Add egg mixture to the melted chocolate mixture.

Pour the mixture into ramekin cups.

Bake directly in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 - 20 minutes.

Serve with vanilla ice cream in 2 oz ramekin cups .

Garnishes with sweet chocolate, chocolate sauce, powdered sugar.

Those of you who tried this wonderful desert will remember that it was

served in those little two-ounce ramekin cups. The cake was dusted with

powdered sugar and a small piece of chocolate was placed on top of the ice

cream.

Now you all know what to do with that collection of ramekin cups you have

had laying around...
