Our dear, sweet, Merry has been such a good dog. 
I will miss seeing you together. I'm glad she will be surrounded with love and attention during her last days.

Hello all,

For those who may know my beloved guide dog Merry, she has been diagnosed
last week with bone cancer.  She is eating and drinking normally, but having
a very difficult time walking, since her front leg is full of cancer.  She
will not have long to be with us, but this past weekend, she was so very
happy to be with my daughtr and her boyfriend.  It's amazing that she worked
so beautifully in Detroit during our national convention.  Our dogs give us
so much joy that we can manage the sorrow at the end of their lives.  Please
keep our family and my dear Merry in your thoughts and prayers.
