Hi Jody,

It looks like you can play Audible books on devices from Creative,
Microsoft, Sandisk to mention just a few so I would say that you can
probably listen to books on many MP3 players.  You can check out the Audible
page for device compatibility and give them a call.  They are quite helpful.

I didn't realize that audible books was bought by Amazon.  Can you play the 
books on a standard MP3 player?
