Hello all,

As secretary of the National Association of Guide Dog Users, I'm proud to
forward this email from Marion Gwizdala, who is its President. I should
mention that our Florida affiliate does get credit in NfB's March for
Independence if someone makes a contribution to an NFBf member who
participates on a team, such as the Parents or NAGDU.

I must add here that my guide dog Merry and I indeed walked the entire
March. She was very tired afterward, but I had no idea she had cancer. She
waved her tail and was so pleased to be part of a big crowd. I'm now in the
process of researching and applying to a couple different guide dog schools.
Please read Marion's letter which follows my signature.
Sherrill

Dear All,
I just received a message from Christian Kuhnke, Outreach Specialist at
the National Center for the Blind, advising me that Team NAGDU's final total
for the 2009 March for independence is $8,287.50. That puts us at #1 in the
standings! Thanks to all of the members of Team NAGDU for your hard work and
dedication to the movement! Now it's time to start working on the 2010
March!

fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala
