To all my NFBF colleagues and friends,

 

At a time of economic uncertainty and a world clamoring for answers we all need to step back for a moment, take a good look and start to recognize our blessings.  My New Years Pledge for 2009 was simply to ‘stop looking for the flaws in my blessings.” Not to bad of a suggestion for those who should be grateful for the good life they have.

I would like to leave you with an end quote from a friend and mentor long gone; “too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” (Leo Buscaglia)
