Hi, Nicki and hubby! Glad to have you join us in FL, and into the NFB!

I'm Debby (with a "y" <grin>), I'm mom to 3 terrific kids, one of whom we adopted from Hong Kong when she was 3. Winona is blind, and the reason we became involved in the NFB. Now I'm president of the NFB of FL Parents of Blind Children. Hope we'll meet at state convention in May!

HI everyone,

I just wanted to say hi to everyone.  My husband and I just recently moved to FL in August.  We live in Pinellas Park and were just voted into the Pinellas Chapter today.  I wanted to wait to send this until I was official. I work at Freedom Scientific and know Dave pretty well now as I ride home with him every day, and he invited us to a meeting.  Anyway, just wanted to say hi and am enjoying finding out everything that is going on in florida with the NFB.  it is great to see us so active.  I had been a member of ACB in the past, but my husband and I have had some interest in NFB for the last couple years, so i am glad we could finally be a part of it.
