I am happy to recommend Lenora Marten as President of the National Federation of the Blind Florida Parents Division. She has an excellent knowledge of NFB
philosophy.
She has been part of the blind community since childhood as she helped her brother through school. She has two blind children and understands the issues
faced by
blind children. She not only believes that blind people can achieve their goals, but expects them to live up to their full potential.

Lenora has been a member of the Greater Jacksonville Chapter for four years. Her son, Eric went to Youth Slam in 2007, attended a Youth Leadership Seminar
at Jernigan
Institute a few months later, and has once again been selected for Youth Slam 2009.

Lenora has a clear UNDERSTANDING OF SELF ADVOCACY and has INSTILLED THIS IN HER CHILDREN.

I am proud to recommend Lenora for President of the Parents Division. She is just the person to bridge the division with NFBF local chapters and state affiliate,
which will
