[Nfbf-l] Candidates at the Presidents Breakfast?

Hello Marion, Sherri and everyone,
I totally agree. There is no reason why we could not make time available for
those who are seeking to run for the office of president of our affiliate.
In addition to what Marion has pointed out below, many of the chapter
presidents also serve on the nominating committee that meets bright and
early on Monday morning. This would give all those in attendance an
opportunity to think about the best person for the position of affiliate
president prior to determining who is officially the "nominee" for that
office on Monday morning.

JMHO,

Dave

Sherri,
I agree that the Presidents Breakfast is "crowded with events"; however,
if the decision were made to include the candidates for the Presidency, it
would be an invaluable tool to hear from them directly rather than listen to
all of the speculation from those who have a captive audience! If we are to
resolve the "internal conflict" and other important issues we face as
Chapter Presidents, what benefit would be served by not having those in the
meeting with a plan to move this Affiliate beyond the status quo? If there
is to be progress, there needs to be change.

Fraternally,
Marion
