Subject: [Nfbf-l] Orientation to first floor of hotel

Hi everyone coming on our cruise into the future. I have been asked to give
a general guide to getting around on the first floor of the Embassy suites
by FLAGDU President, Sherrill O'Brien and the NFBF Board. So here goes! I
hope it wwill be helpful.

When you enter the front doors, the registration desk for the hotel is on
your right. yYou will hear a fountain or some may call it a waterfall
directly in front of you.

To go to the elevators from the front desk, followthe counter to your left
and then turn right. Follow around keeping to your left and hearing the
fountain. The whole area is sort of in a circle. When you are about a
quarter of the way around, you should hear the elevators on your left. On
your right is the giftshop.

For those who have guide dogs needing to find the relief area, continue
around past the bar or manager's reception area, then go straight out the
back door. Walk straight ahead to a grassy area about the distance of a
couple of driveways. There will be bags and trash cans there.
Return to the hotel the same way back across the driveway.

To go to the Bermuda room, St. Croix Room, or the Palm Theater from the back
door turn right and continue down the hall with the manager's reception area
on the left. First comes Bermuda, then Palm Theater, and finally St. Croix.

To Get from the Elevators to the Bermuda room, St. Croix room or the Palm
Theater, turn left and follow around the Manager's reception area keeping it
on your left. Bermuda is first, Palm Theater and then St. Croix.

To get to the restaurant from the Elevvator, turn right and right again into
the Twim Palm Restaurant which is also where breakfast is served.

To get to the exhibit hall and meeting rooms from the elevator, turn right
and follow around keepinng the restaurant on your right going past the
fountain still on your right and the lobby on your left. As you enter the
hallway just past the lobby you will find the St. Thomas room which is the
exhibit hall. Continuing down the hall the third dorr down is the Cancun
room, then the Barbados room and finally the Aruba room. These three are the
break-out rooms and will be opened to be the carribean ball room.

Hope this all helps some.

Betty
