Hi Kathy,

I don't know all the technical stuff about Fios.  I believe it's fiber optic 
cables that gives a fast speed.  My daughter has it and loves it.  My e-mail 
will stay the same, it's just they told us to allow four to six hours for 
installation.  And I have a google address that goes to my phone.  Which 
I'll probably use quite a bit when I go back to school to stay in touch when 
I'm not home.
