James and I are taking Amtrak, out of New Orleans, to Detroit.? I inquired, of Fred Wurtzel, about transportation to the hotel and?below is?his reply.?

If you get off at the Woodward and Milwaukee station in Detroit, it is an approximate $10 cab fare.? Busses on Woodward run every 10 or 15 minutes and go near the Marriottt.? The best thing to do if taking a bus, is to transfer from the bus to the People mover near Grand Circus park and that will take you to the Marriott on the second floor.? The hotel lobby is on the third floor.?
