Thank you to all of you who have written with your good wishes. I have
shared them with Gloria, and she appreciates all of your messages. The patch
came off today, and Gloria is thrilled with how well she can see. She can
not yet see as well as she did a few years ago, but it is better than it has
been for several months, and maybe a couple of years. And this is just the
first day! Needless to say, we are thrilled. 

 

Gloria is in her office, catching up a bit on the backlog of e-mails. Her
vision should continue to improve as the swelling goes down and, perhaps,
with the right glasses. Gloria goes back to the doctor on Tuesday. We will
keep you posted.
