In actuality, didn't we sign the contract with the old ownership? Therefore 
we could just as well not be obligated to honor it any jmore than the new 
owner  is by not working with us therefore, not having to honor  any 
contract we had with the old ownership period!

They feel they are honoring it by offering us the original room rates.
Originally, the rates of the Holiday Inn were much higher than $82 per
night. Guess I should have kept this off-list, but it just really gets me
upset and I still feel there ought to be some recourse.
