Yep, mayo on a hot dog.  I suppose it's because  we grew up eating it that 
way up north as kids.

When I worked for the Commission for the Blind in Texas we had a Regional 
Meeting in Corpus Christi with about 30 co-workers meeting for lunch at a 
local restaurant.  The Waitress sat us all at two large tables and placed 
ketchup bottles in front of each and everyone of us.

I ordered cod and fries with tarter sauce.  I had about half of them ask me, 
"what's the tarter sauce for"?  I told them for the fish and I dip my fries 
in it to, "taste good, you should try it".
most of them when their food got in front of them (some ate pig brain, cat 
fish, yucky stuff like that"  and they all grabbed their ketchup bottles and 
smothered their food until you couldn't even taste the food just ketchup. 
Southern thing I guess, I'll stick with my mayo and tarter sauce.  Ketchup, 
mustard, and of course Mayo on my hot dogs and burgers.  Hmmm

Think I'll go make a couple hot dogs and have a late nite snack.
