[Nfbf-l] Very Important Information

Hi, Kathy and list.

I know you mean well but what I'm about to say may sound like I'm throwing
cold water.

I've seen this message about cell phones make the rounds for several years
saying cell numbers will go public in a month and nothing ever comes of it.
It seems to go out whenever someone who is sending the message wants to
generate some urgency.

I've never heard anything official from the phone companies or government on
this issue.

Yes there is a government do not call number and web site but this number
doesn't sound like the correct one but I could be wrong.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell what is a hoax and what is real, since
hoaxers often rely on the fact that a message is relayed by someone we know
and trust.

God bless.

Bill Outman

Subject: [Nfbf-l] Very Important Information

Hi Fellow Federationists,
Please read and follow through with the information below. I just registered
my cell phone number using the information provided. If you do not do so,
telemarketers will begin calling you on your cell phone and you will have to
pay.

Kathy

Important!!!!

REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.
REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing
companies and you will start to receive sales calls.

.... YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your
time.. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell
phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different
phone number.

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON .. It takes about 20 seconds.
