Congratulations and a big high five to Eric for this great accomplishment.  It takes alot of commitment on the part of parents, too.  A great way to start your summer.  You're a good role model for other scouts, blind or sighted.

We have known Eric since he was 12 years old, and he has been with our chapter for the past 4 years. Our chapter child is now 18 and an Eagle Scout. We are so proud of him.

Eric had his final Board of Review last night and is now an official 
Eagle Scout! It's been a long road, but well worth it! He's especially 
proud of the fact that he earned all his badges using the same 
requirements as his sighted peers. He will go on to be a member of 
the Order of the Arrow as well as an adult leader in his troop.
