Hello Sherri and all,

The case of the Missouri couple is infuriating.  Add it to the case in
California a few years ago and all the others and it is unbelievable!

I think the NFB should come up with an immediate response for this sort of
thing so that parents don't have to wait 57 days to find out if 'the state'
will allow them to have their own child!

I think we should start with a list of blind parents who have raised
children without state interference.  Maybe if these idiot workers could see
a list of the thousands of blind parents they would back off and realize
their job is on the line.

I hope these parents sue the state of Missouri for damages.  They can never
get those 57 days back, the mom can't breast feed her baby and the emotional
toll must be incredible.  I know I couldn't handle something like that
happening when my babies were born.
