Sabrina
I was glad to take them to Sea World and Holly Idler got them home on her way to Daytona. Rodney did a GREAT job at Sea World touching everyhing!!! It was awesome to see all of the kids faces when touching the snake, gator, adult and baby penguins and the sharks! I know they went further on rides and I came home!
I can honestly say the "aha" moment came when I gave Jackie a Seedlings braille book certificate and Rodney was already reading his braille book Lenora gave him! That made it worth it all! And he did use his cane at Sea World!
Keep in touch!

Terrific job Sabrina for networking to get Rodney talking with James. James is truly an inspirational person who has accomplished a lot. Great job Sabrina!

James,
Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with Rodney. Almost from the moment I met him, I knew I wanted to put him in touch with you.
For the rest of the list, Rodney is a boy who recently joined the Daytona chapter. He has albinism and is quite intaverted. I really wanted him to meet other blind children but also someone such as James who has albinism and grew up to be successful in school, professioinally and in life. He was able to do both and his aunt Jackie met the right people and got the right information to get him the resources and services he needs.
That for me made the convention a success.
Thanks again to James and everyone else who welcomed and helped Jackie and Rodney.
Lenora, thank you for everything and especially for giving Rodney the cane. That was the first time he had ever had a cane in his hand and he is 10 years old. He carried it almost the entire weekend.
Holly, thank you for working with Rodney and Jackie during the cane walk.
Doreen, a big thank you for transporting them to SeaWorld and then taking them home.
Sincerely,
Sabrina Deaton

Sabrina,
Great job with PR are the convention. Also a great new clip you included, It was god to see you and it was nice to meet Jacklyn and my man Rodney. I hope I said something that will help him in the future. I would be happy to to talk, email, etc. with him in the future.
Who was that guy near the end of the video reading a magazine? (a very handsome albino)
Take care, and thanks for your hard work.
