[Nfbf-l] Votran public meetings

Hello Fellow Greater Daytona Beach NFBF Chapter members,

As many of you know Volusia County is looking into cutting Votran fixed routes again. Proposed Votran service eliminations include holiday service and southeast Volusia routes 42, 43, and 44.  
Votran is holding public meetings next week and we really need to make a good showing and have our voices heard. Votran cuts affect every single one of us whether you take the fixed routes or paratransit. And uncontested cuts are a recipe for disaster. So it is extremely important that we are seen and our concerns are voiced. I really want to see a large number of us come out for these hearings.

 The public meetings will be:
*    Monday, June 21, 4-6 p.m. at the Brannon Center, 105 Riverside
Drive, New Smyrna Beach. This location is served by Votran routes 42, 43
and 44. 
*    Tuesday, June 22, 4-6 p.m. at Votran Headquarters, 950 Big Tree
Road, South Daytona. This location is served by Votran route 7.

I'd like a large number of us to attend the Tuesday meeting at Votran headquarters that is the easiest location for the overwhelming majority of us to get to. But by all means if you can make it to the Monday meeting, please do so.
