[Nfbf-l] Voice Activated Coffee Maker

We have a Speak and Brew coffee pot and it works great.  It was a Christmas
present from friends.  It is so easy to use.  Basically there are 4 buttons
on the front but for those of us who are blind only the 2 righthand buttons
are needed.  The top righthand button when pressed will ask if you want to
set the time or set the brewing time.  You then respond by saying either set
the time which allows you to set the clock, or by if you ask it to set the
brewing time you can tell it what time you want it to turn on and brew your
coffee.  In either case it will confirm what you said so you will know if
you made a mistake or not.  When the unit kicks on in the morning to start
making coffee it verbally announces, "starting brew."  If you choose to
manually start the coffee in the morning the bottom righthand button will
start it and tell you that it has started brewing.  The unit will
automatically switch itself off after 2 hours but if you press the same
button that you used to start brewing it will shut the unit off but will not
say anything.  That is okay because it will talk when turhned on only so you
will know the difference.  Finally a coffee pot that we don't need sighted
help to set the time or the brewing time.  If anyone has questions let us
know.  You can probably get it at ILA but it can also be gotten from
www.primulaproducts.com and they have free shipping I believe.  Either of
these places are cheaper then some other places I have seen it.
