[Nfbf-l] ETA travel gear, Luggage Locator

Hello Jim,

It isn't the noise it makes but the fact that it is an unknown electronic
device in the luggage. You carry the transmitter button in your pocket.
That sounds totally suspicious to me and I am sure it will be for the TSA
too.

JODY

Hi Craig and all,

I personally have never used one but I do not believe they make any sound
until you press the button on the transmitter to locate your bag. The only
time you would do this is when you've reached your destination and I doubt
anyone would care then.

Thanks,
Jim

I wonder how airport security will react to luggage beeping.

Hi Tara,

I ordered several of them last week but they haven't arrived yet
and I doubt
they will be here by convention time. If they do come early I'll
let
everyone know how they work out. The price is certainly right.
I do check
my large suitcase when going to the national convention so they
will come in
handy if they work as good as they sound like they do. The cost
was less
than $15 including shipping for all 3.

Thanks,
Jim
