Dan, I sooooo agree with you! We have very legitimate issues but This issue 
in my view is something that one could pursue personally  for themselves to 
get a better understanding of why or what it's all about with the tags. What 
disturbs me is the comment of David about his desire to sue the restraunt he 
was in because some minimum wage employee fed a piece of bread to his guide 
dog! this, in my opinion, is the complete opposite behavior we need to use 
to gain cooperation from the sighted community by being so quick to accuse 
and less inclined to discuss civilly why feeding a guide dog is not in the 
dog or persons best interest so they will not repeat this behavior. Besides, 
If he took His dog outside right away for a bowel movement, I can't believe 
these sesame seeds from their buns would have already passed through his 
entire bowels and body. Hell, there sure have been times when I would have 
prayed for such quick relief! LOL! Espescially after Thanksgiving dinners!

I can clear up some of this. The "Keep in Sight" part of the slip is no big
deal. It just means keep this card or slip showing or in the sight of the
conductor so he or she will know where the passenger in that seat is
supposed to get off. It has nothing to do with keeping the passenger in
sight, following him / her around, etc.. Patti Johnson and others have shown
me slips with "Keep in Sight" on them that date back as far as the
Eisenhower administration. Then again, nothing to do with blindness. We have
to pick our battles.
