I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I just got a call from Greater Orlando 
hapter member Gerry Idler. As most of you who have attended state and national 
onventions know, Gerry spends a great deal of time and effort shuttling people 
ack and forth to convention. He is always willing to help. He has been on 
acation visiting family in Arkansas and Denver. He is now in the hospital in 
enver with a quite serious leg infection from a wound that did not heal. 
pparently, he hurt himself while mowing his lawn here in Florida and it just 
as not gotten better. He is on IV antibiotics and they are trying to determine 
he best course of treatment to help his leg heal. Please keep Gerry in your 
houghts and prayers. If you want to give him a call, his cell phone number is
