Jim and all,
Now I just may be bidding on this item. Perhaps many of us have computer
related stuff just cluttering up our houses that is still very usable. You
might be surprised what treasures you may uncover with a little excavation
(lol!)

Subject: [Nfbf-l] Great auction item for the state convention

Hi all,

We always have a lot of fun with the auction at our NFBF state convention.
The bidding wars sometimes go on and on until someone wins that special item
they wanted. You will have to come to the convention to enjoy the fun and
take part in the seminars etc. If you stay home you just might miss out on
that special auction or door prize. Now, here is an item I myself am
bringing to put up for auction.

An Microtek I800 flatbed scanner. This scanner is in great condition and
will work with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. It has an
oversized 8.5x14 inch bed which allows it to accomadate pages up to 14
inches long. Most scanners only have 11.5 inch beds for standard size
documents. It has connections for USB and firewire as well and comes with
the power cable and other accessories. The only thing the winner would need
to supply are the USB or the firewire cables which can be gotten at any
store like Best Buy etc. Remember, it works nicely so you won't get it home
and find that you bought a door stop. It is fairly large as scanners go and
will come in the original box.

Okay, come and bid on this and other great items at the NFBF state
convention and don't forget that we need your help in gathering good useable
auction items.

Thanks,

Jim
