[Nfbf-l] my official resignation statement

Hi Sherri and all,

I want to say to all NFBF members what a wonderful job Sherri has done as
our secretary!! She is truly dedicated to our cause, and it shows in her
enthusiasm and great work. While many of you know this, many don't realize
the hours and hours she puts in to write up the Board minutes every month,
not to mention many other important meeting minutes she takes as well. And
all this on top of her Newsline involvement. I know much deliberation went
into her decision not to run for office. The Board will miss her, but she'll
still be helping us out in countless ways.

We're grateful for all you've done and understand why you need to take a
step back.

Hello All,



I first want to thank all those who have supported me the past 5+ years I
have served on the NFBF Board. I have been secretary of the NFBF since
elected in 2006. I would like to submit my official resignation from the
office of secretary and also from the NFBF Board of Directors. I have
enjoyed serving the NFBF but my plate is full with other thins including
raising a 13-year-old son as a single parent with no help from his other
parent.



Therefore, I do not wish to run again for an NFBF Board position or for the
secretary position of NFBF. I thank all of you for your support and want to
commend the NFBF Board for their most excellent work. I hope all of you will
continue to support the NFBF Board. I know I will.
