Hi RJ,

I don't want to get into to much technical stuff here since this list isn't
focused on such topics.  The connection types on your PC will largely
determine what type of embosser you should get.  In otherwords, if the PC
has no serial or parallel ports you should probably get an embosser with a
USB supported connection.  If you acquire an embosser that only has serial
or parallel connections you could "try" a USB to serial, or USB to parallel
adaptor but no garantees about whether or not they will work.  Most modern
embossers use USB as their primary connection.  Older embossers rely on
serial or parallel and probably lack USB support.  New PC's commonly lack
serial or parallel ports as USB is much more popular.
