This topic has been well covered, so it leaves me little to add.
I have been married to both a sighted person, and a blind person. 
Blindness was never a major factor in the relationship. It is just like any relationship.
You said it yourself. She is the one you choose to be with. 
You got a lot of good advice from this list. I think you made a wise choice.
Good luck to you both. 


I believe I have met Jessica before. Here is an idea for a date. The Jacksonville Blind Community picnic is tentatively scheduled for 4/16/11.
Why don't you both come? You will have a great time.
