Jodie, Google already has a prototype on the roads of california and for 2 
years now doing tests without inccident as well. So, if they are successful 
with theirs, as they have been so far, and we are successful with ours, as 
we are, then it is just a matter of time before we can merge the two 
research and development teams together for such a vehicle! It is just a 
start Sweetie, but the cool thing about all is that for the very first time 
in our History, we have seen the hope and dreams of us all become reality! 
This is the very motto of my non profit as well which is the FDCP on my 
signatures I send out with my emails! " Turning hpope into reality"! I 
applaud the NFB and the u of V, as well as Google for having the insight and 
vision of the future for starting these works for generations to come to 
improve and advance not only us but all of mankind! Kudo's to all! Your

I am delighted with the Blind Driver Challenge and all it represents but I
wonder why not just have a computer controlled car that everyone sighted and
blind could drive?
