Dear All,
The next National Convention in Orlando will be at a different Rosen Hotel.
It will be at the Rosen Center Hotel, which is right next to the Orlando
Convention Center and is much closer to I-Drive. There will be lots of
places that you can walk to on I-Drive.
There is also a shuttle bus that runs along the I-Drive that can take you to
a number of the attractions such as "Wet and Wild" and more restaurants than
you will ever have money for.
Something to remember is that National always places a clause in it's
contracts that extends the convention room rate 3 days before and 3 days
after the convention for those who like to come early or stay late to see
the sites and still have a great place to stay.
Next time, maybe we can have some tours arranged before and after the
convention so everyone can always see the sites.
I am sure that we will have more info about such things before the next one.
There is very good Public Transit in Orlando and it runs 24-7.
Next time we will really show you some Southern Hospitality.
"Save your Confederate money Boys, the South will rise again."
