Obama Needs to Hear from YOU by 6pm Today:
Top Advisors to Host Virtual Town Hall
Eight million people with disabilities are in danger of losing their health care. The unemployment rate for people with disabilities is nearly twice as high than for those without disabilities. Hundreds of thousands are spending decades on never-ending waitlists.
How are Obama's top disability policy advisors going to tackle our community's most pressing issues?
On Thursday, July 14th from 1:00 - 2:00 PM EST, Disability.gov will air a live "Virtual" Town Hall meeting to answer your questions and introduce the White House's top advisors on disability policy.
If this administration is going to effectively address issues that matter the most to our community, they need to hear from us.
Let Obama's advisors know what is weighing on your mind by 6pm today.
Participants during the virtual town hall who will be able to answer your questions include Kareem Dale, Special Assistant to the President for Disability Policy and Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement; Jeffrey Crowley, M.P.H., Senior Advisor on Disability Policy and Director of the Office of National AIDS Policy at the White House; and Rebecca Cokley, Director of Priority Placement for Public Engagement, White House Presidential Personnel Office.
Stand with our community in framing this important discussion.
Send your questions to https://www.disability.gov/WHQuestion by 6pm today!
