FYI, I thought some of us would find this interesting:
On March 10th at 3 p.m. EST, the Social Security Administration will host a webinar, "Social Security 101: What's in it for me?" The webinar is designed to reach college students and young workers around the country and will focus on Social Security issues of special importance to them-- disability and survivors insurance, financing principles of the program, how workers and their families qualify for coverage, and steps to plan and save for their financial future. The webinar will also include a live Q&A session.
Participants can RSVP and view the webinar here. A recording of the webinar will also be available on our website for those who miss the live broadcast.

Forum members,
Please see a message below from SSA's CIO, Frank Baitman, about a webinar SSA is hosting today at 3 pm ET to engage young Americans in an online discussion about the future of social security. It's a nice example of citizen engagement.
Feel free to listen in, and share with your networks (esp. if you have networks of college students and young workers)
Thanks,
Sheila

Colleagues:
We're getting ready for a cool open government event on Thursday, March 10th, and hope you'll help us to promote it. It's a bit of an experiment, using a webinar to reach out to engage young Americans in a conversation on Social Security's programs. See information below and attached, and thanks for whatever you can do to build the audience!
