I noticed on my cruises that not everyone will stamp the passport book. I
appreciate you explaining the difference. Thanks.

Well I prefer the passport book, because the card is only used for Canada,
Mexico and some Caribbean Islands, plus if you ever want to go to other
destinations like Europe, etc. you need the passport book, plus on the card
if you like getting souvenirs from different places, the stamps in the books
are a good place to start, you need to ask some of them to stamp you book
for you, some won't do it.
