Good evening all,

I was extremely honored to be a part of the September 29, 2012 Volusia
County "Final Honor Air Flight" that took place at the Daytona Beach
International Airport. My wife Jeanie and I had been invited to attend
and participate in this worthy celebration of our World War Two, Korean
and Vietnam service personnel veterans. Hundreds of people gathered
inside the airport terminal waiting on the return flight from
Washington, DC where over one hundred veterans, dignitary escorts and
family members spent the day at the War Memorial Wall. The Embry
Riddle Aeronautical University Color Guard presented arms and the
Daytona State College Band played the National Anthem while the
participating spectators cheered the veterans and their entourage with
a hardy well deserved applause, hoots, hollering and many thank yous
for their service to this country. Jeanie and I represented the NFB
Greater Daytona Beach Chapter and were privileged to be a part of the
meet and greet committee that welcomed this fine group home.
