Hi all,
The reason that SSI has the $2000 limit, and also, the same reason that Medicaid has the same $2000 limit, both for more than 40 years now, is, that we disabled haven't gotten mad about it, and stood up against it.
So, here's what I propose.
I propose that we have a national call in day, on the first day that the new congress is in office, which would be in January, 2013.!
We need to call our senaters and congress persons, and tell them
"I want you to eliminate the $2000 limit for people on Medicaid and SSI.
If you don't get rid of this limit, I won't vote for you in the future."
