Subject: [blindkid] Fw: vision webinar
Good morning to all of you.
As you probably know, I am the V President of FOPBC (FL Organization of
Parents of Blind Children). I am doing a webinar, “20-20 Hindsight: Clearing
the air on vision,” on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 10-12. Iam also an IEP
Coach with Central FL Parent Center, which is the PTI (Parent Training &
Information Center) that covers central and northeast Florida. CFPC helps
parents of children of all disabilities understand IDEA, 504s/IEPs and the
process. I am attaching the flyer for the webinar which will be on basic
eye/vision functions and diseases in children. It also contains links for
numerous resources for parents of children who are blind or visually
impaired. There will also be time for questions and answers.
I hope many of you will take advantage of this webinar and join us on Nov 6.
Please feel free to forward to any parents or others that you think might
benefit from this webinar. You can register for the webinar at:
https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/166539169.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Central Florida Parent Center is a federally funded Parent Training &
Information Center (PTI). We provide assistance to parents of children with
disabilities to understand the special education process. We are not
attorneys and we cannot offer legal advice. We do not represent parents nor
do we speak on their behalf. We are not advocates - our role is supportive
and our goal is always to assist in creating and maintaining positive and
collaborative relationships.
