>> Ok, we were not told of restrictions prior to deciding to do the cruise. Here goes, children under 6 months cannot go on the cruise, children under the age of three are not allowed in the childcare facilities on board the ship, children who are not fully potty trained cannot go into pools, period even with the swim diapers on. College students between 18-21 much have someone over 25 to be responsible for them.
>> Once these issues came up and the truth came out, we realize that this affects our parents with small children both sighted and blind, our blind children who aren't always potty trained by the age of 3 and our college students.
>> The board decided that since this cruise eliminated some of our members from bring able to attend and since we did not have as much support from our membership, it would be best to cancel the cruise and start looking for a hotel and chapter to host our 2014 convention.
>> I hope this sheds some light on the matter for each of you.
