I would like to extend my very enthusiastic congratulations to Pete Gibson 
for winning the 2013 United States Blind Over The Board Chess Championship 
Tournament, held in Pittsburgh over this weekend!
Well Done Pete!

Hi Listers,
In the final round of the 2013 U.S. Championship for Blind Players:

Pete Gibson beat Ginny Alverson
Dan Steininger drew with Al Pietrolungo
Jim Homme defeated Joe Wasserman
Henry Olynik beat Rick Miller

Pete Gibson wins his first national championship and $400 with 4 points.
Steininger and Pietrolungo share second and third and $250 each. The other 
players share 4th place money along with the money for class prizes. They 
each took home $100.

Congratulations to all participants, and thanks to Al Pietrolungo for
calling me with results.
