It is not known yet, but they will get full reimbursement and also travel insurance will fall into place for other things like many people wound up in the hospital and it will cover there health related issues, and they are suppose to be paying for all transportation home for those who flew into Galveston, etc.
Just an FYI. I have never been a big fan of Carnival, they also own Costa Cruise lines, and this is the 4th Carnival Cruise that has done this. I have never heard of other cruise lines breaking down like they do.
But I cannot be biased I have to sell what my clients want. Carnival has also cancelled 14 sailings as well.
I will keep you up to date on this if you wish.

> What kind of reiubursement can the passengers aboard this ship expect in view of the recent problems of being without power, running water, and minimal food service since last Sunday. The ship left from Galveston Texas and is being towed to Mobile Alabama. Would travel insurance cover these problems?
