What:  
The _NFB national  convention_ 
(http://www.nfb.org/nfb/National_Convention.asp)  attracts nearly three thousand blind individuals and their  family 
members and will be the largest gathering of the blind in the country  this 
year.  Our exhibit hall is one of the highlights of the convention  with nearly 
every attendee visiting the hall.   
Preregistration: 
Preregistration will be  open from March 1 through May 31 and is  highly 
recommended. When purchased online by May 31st, the  preregistration fee for 
convention is $25 ($30 on-site) and the cost of a  banquet ticket is $50 ($60 
on-site). 
Hotel Rates and  Information:
Hotel room rates for the  2013 convention are singles and doubles, $79; 
triples and quads, $85. In  addition to the room rates there will be a tax, 
which at present is 13.5  percent.  
For 2013  convention room reservations you should write directly to the 
Rosen Centre  Hotel, 9840 International Drive Orlando, FL 32819, or call (407) 
996-9840. The  hotel will require a deposit of $90 or a credit card number. 
If you use a  credit card, the deposit will be charged against your card 
immediately. If a  reservation is cancelled before May 13, 2013, 50% of the 
deposit will be  returned. Otherwise refunds will not be made. 
Guest room  amenities include cable television; coffee pot; iron and 
ironing board; hair  dryer; and, for a fee, high-speed Internet access. Guests can 
also enjoy  outdoor pools as well as a fully-equipped health club and spa. 
The Rosen  Centre has several restaurants and bars.
