> Last week, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new data that estimates 1 in 68 children in multiple communities throughout the United States have been identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The new estimate is 30 percent higher than the 2012 estimate of 1 in 188 children. The data also continue to show that ASD is almost five times more common among boys than girls: 1 in 42 boys versus 1 in 189 girls. Learn more from CDC.
