You are invited!

We now have captioning available for our chapter meeting. For those who
have a hard time hearing on the phone; we hope you will be able to attend
and experience the freedom of understanding what is being said.

Directions:

*       Call  in as normal

	Conference Number: (605) 475-4700

	Access Code: 800550#

* Announce yourself (see tip for those who use iPhone at the bottom of
this email)

* At your computer, click on website

	https://www.streamtext.net/player?event=0173ConferenceCall

	Note:

The conversation is accessible by Braille Displays through the
computer.

* The captionists will type what is being said and the conversation
will appear on the computer screen.

To ensure that all who attend are noted in our minutes; please either
announce your name verbally or write it in the chat box. One of our board
members will be monitoring the website chat box.

The number one rule is to speak your name before you make a comment. This
will help the Captionists to identify you in the conversation on the
website. For more effective acknowledgement of the attendees of the
meeting, it would be helpful if an email is sent to Darlene Laibl-Crowe
(dlaiblcrowe at att.net <mailto:dlaiblcrowe at att.net> ) before the meeting so
the captionists can have a list of names to refer to as the meeting
progresses.

Other instructions for the call:

  ~ Mute: Star (*) 6

  ~ iPhone Users:

You can store the conference call in your contact list along with the
access code. The phone will call the number and enter

the access code and make it easier for you to access the call.

Here are the directions:

1) Contacts

2) Enter a name for the call.

3) Enter telephone number with area code

4) The key pad where you enter the number has the 'shift' key where the
*(star) key

           should be; select that.

5) The key pad changes and where the 1 key should be; it says 'comma' -
select this

6) Then enter the access code

7) Next, select 'shift' again

8) Select 'comma'

9) Select 'shift'

10) Select '# (number) sign'

11) As always you have to confirm that the access code is correct, so
select 'shift' again

12) Select 'comma'

13) Select 1 or whatever number it is to confirm the number; for SWC
call; it is one (1).

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hope to 'hear' you there!

(smile)

:) Darlene Laibl-Crowe
