[Nfbf-l] The Importance of learning independent living skills

Hi all hope you are doing well.  I'd like to discuss why it is 
important to learn independent living skills.  For the past 
several years my mom and sisters have helped me to complete 
certain tasks.  Last week I ordered my own sandwich from a cafe 
at UCF.  It felt great to order my sandwich and drink and find a 
table all on my own.  I'd like to hear your stories about the 
importance of learning independent living skills.
