> Dear Graduates,
> Happy summer! The weather is warm and the sun is shining. After the hard winter here in New Jersey, we’re all happy about that!
>
> We have a few updates for you in this email message: Our next scheduled graduate update conference call; an audio tour of The Seeing Eye; staff taking key positions at the International Guide Dog Federation; and Seeing Eye attendance at upcoming conventions.
>
> We wanted to let you know that our next scheduled graduate update conference call will be held Saturday, August 16, at 11 a.m. (eastern time). To participate, call toll-free 1-855-852-0585 and when asked, give conference ID 56961300. Live questions are welcome, but if you would have a topic that you would like to be addressed or would like to ask a question in advance, please send it to info at SeeingEye.org with "Graduate Update Call" in the subject line. For those who cannot attend, a recording of the call will be available in the graduate section of The Seeing Eye website about a week after the call. Recordings of prior Graduate Update Calls also are available there.
>
> We have been holding these calls since January 2013, with President Jim Kutsch and Director of Instruction and Training Dave Johnson to update graduates on various topics. There is typically a 30 to 45 minute presentation followed by a question and answer period.
>
> In December, Seeing Eye graduate Buddy Brannan toured The Seeing Eye for the accessibility company, Serotek and made an audio recording of the tour. It takes the listener behind the scenes, including such places as into the kennels, through the veterinary clinic, and even in the data center. If you haven’t been back since our renovation, or want to revisit us, go to http://serotalk.com/2014/05/28/spn-special-an-audio-tour-of-the-seeing-eye/
>
> Previously, Buddy interviewed Jim Kutsch. The interview can be found here: http://serotalk.com/2014/02/19/spn-special-an-interview-with-jim-kutsch/
>
> Seeing Eye President & CEO Jim Kutsch was recently elected chairman of the International Guide Dog Federation, a prestigious post that shows just how highly regarded The Seeing Eye is in international circles! In addition, Director of Canine Development Peggy Gibbon and Instructor Lukas Franck were named assessors for the organization, meaning they will evaluate guide dog schools for accreditation.
