[Nfbf-l] Donations in Johnnie's Honor

Hi all,

I agree with Sylvia that Newsline is a super donation idea in Johnnie's
memory.
Sylvia and I were at today's service, as well as at least 10 other
Tallahassee Chapter members. Every word spoken about Johnnie was a
reflection of her life and brought tears to many eyes. There were also many
smiles and laughter when experiences with Johnnie were mentioned. She made a
big impression in the lives of people from all walks of life. Toni King made
a commitment to continue the work that Johnnie dedicated herself to as a
blind advocate. Our chapter will make her proud as we continue to change
what it means to be blind!

This is indeed at good idea.  Johnnie was also an advocate for Newsline.
She encourage all of us to join.

Sylvia, thanks for this. I would like permission to add NFBF Newsline if
that's okay. Johnnie loved Newsline and was a hard worker in the Tallahassee
chapter for it. We have a Newsline fund in our NFBF treasury and I'm sure if
you send checks to our treasurer Gloria and mark them specifically for
Newsline, she will make sure they get to the right place. I hope this meets
with everyone's approval. And to quote Johnnie, "Cheers"
