Part of the reason Johnnie did such a great job is the people and friends
she surrounded herself with and you Toni are one of them. I know that
because of JOhnnie's encouragement and the fine people in the Tallhassee
chapter, the chapter will continue to go on to do great things. My
condolences to all of you and as JOhnnie would say,

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words and support in the
face of our loss.

Yes Johnnie Slaton was an amazing woman and a devoted member of the
NFB.  She was a great president and we will miss her leadership, energy
and drive.
We will continue  to make a difference  in honor of Johnnie and all she
gave.
