It is so hard to believe that it was just the other day or at least it feels like it, that we were in Daytona Beach for the 2014 NFBF state convention and what a great one it was and for those who attended can say it was truly wonderful. I am sure that most of you know that there is no letter " I " in the word team and that it takes a team of dedicated workers to make an event like this come together. I want to first take out the time to thank the NFB Greater Daytona Beach Chapter's board and its very diligent members who really understand what volunteerism and advocacy are all about. I really appreciate that they recognize the needs of this community and are dedicated in getting the job done. I especially want to thank Kathy Davis, my mentor and good friend for her courage, dedication, and ability to ignite the passion within me to strive in being a proactive leader. The Greater Daytona Beach chapter members are very active in the community whether it be spreading the NFB philosophy, raising funds for important causes, helping others in need, attending conventions, and paving the way for other blind visually impaired individuals on a structured foundation as they prepare to live the life they want.

All Aboard, We are coming to Fort Lauderdale!!!
