[Nfbf-l] Central Florida chapter holds elections

Hello chapter members and friends and my NFBF family,

The National Federation of the Blind of Central Florida along with board 
members from the National Federationof the Blind of Florida held it's 
reorganization/revitalization meeting Saturday June 20, 2015. The following 
were elected by acclamation.

Sherri Brun, President
 Marilyn Baldwin Vice-President
Ann Calhoun, secretary
Katie Hicks, Treasurer.
Juan Almonte, Board Member
Maria Quintinella, Board member.
Bob Lessne, board member

I look forward to working with the officers and board to move the chapter in 
a forward and positive deirection, working together to make decisions and to 
promote building a better life for the blind of Central Florida. Those who 
were not able to attend this meeting, please come back for our next meeting. 
We will be meeting the opening day of general session Wednesday July 8, 2015 
at the National Convention at the Rosen Center. Most of us will be meeting 
for our record-breaking event, where we will gather at the Rosen Center at 
7:00 A.M. The general session starts at 9:30 and we plan to meet for lunch 
afterwards. I thank all who participated and in the spirit of Federationism, 
encourage all to come, join us and be a part of this vibrant chapter. I 
thank all the state board members who took part in this meeting. Thank all 
of you for your support.
