Hello all my friends,



On Saturday, March 7th, 2015 I am participating in the 26th Annual Sight & 
Sole WalkFest to raise funds and awareness for Lighthouse Central Florida. 
Founded in 1976, Lighthouse Central Florida is the only private, nonprofit 
agency in Central Florida providing vision rehabilitation services to the 
blind and visually impaired community. Lighthouse Central Florida serves 
Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties providing essential programs from 
birth through the golden years to ensure all can live independent and 
fulfilling lives. My two grown children who have visual impairments 
participated in the Lighthouse Childrens' program when they were little. I 
am currently taking a much needed technology class there and am benefiting 
very much from their services.



I am sponsoring the team in honor of the late Dr. Tom Hartig, who was our 
first National Federation of the Blind of Florida  Newsline® chair and did 
much to ggrow this free program in Florida, which allows all print-disabled 
to have access to multiple newspapers and magazines throughout the United 
States and internationally.



I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support by donating to my 
walk team. Every penny counts and no amount is too small or too large!! My 
personal goal is $500 and with your help I should have no problem blowing 
this goal out of the water!

cash, that would be great too. You can either provide me with your donation 
and I can turn it into Lighthouse Central Florida, with checks made out to 
Lighthouse Central Florida, Inc. or you can mail your donation to Lighthouse 
Central Florida, 215 E New Hampshire St., Orlando, Florida 32804 with a note 
stating that the donation is to benefit the Sight & Sole Walk. Please 
provide them with my name as well so that the money can be attributed to my 
fundraising goal.



I look forward to your support and encouragement as I strive to reach my
