[Nfbf-l] Just moved from the NY Affiliate to the FL Affiliate in September

Good evening NFB of Florida members:

 

My name is Cheryl Echevarria, and I am married to Nelson Echevarria. If you
are not sure who I am. I have been a member of the NFB since 2006. I had
taken a break for a little while from the NFB, but now we are back. Short
break. Had to rethink things, but in the long run, it is better being part
of this organization than not being a member.

 

I had been Vice President of the Long Island Chapter, and most recently
president, vice-president and treasurer, since David Stayer had gotten ill,
and now he is just a regular member as well. Thank god he is doing much
better. I was also the past president of the National Travel & Tourism
Division.

 

Now, I am just a member. We still own and operate Echevarria Travel, just
moved the computer here to FL. We are members of Sherri Brun's Chapter the
Central Florida Chapter and have been to a meeting all ready.

 

We are doing many bus trips to some of  the southern states from Orlando,
and also cruises, and we are also doing a trip to Utah and the National
Parks, it was popular in 2013, and now we are going back to see other places
from the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Salt Lake City, and many other places
dates are October 1-6, 2017.

 

I can do some fundraising for your chapter as well as our chapter, but you
need to the people to come on these trips, you chapter can make $50-$75 per
person, that could mean anywhere from $1500-$2000 per trip.

 

We are in the Lake Nona area at the present time and we are building a home
in the Kissimmee area, and should be done by September 2017.

interested, I am a member of the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce, we
recently did a tour of the Guidewell Innovation Center. What an interesting
place to visit, it might be a nice thing to do as a local event or something
