Greetings Federation Family:

On Saturday, March 11, 2017 the Gainesville Chapter held elections for 2017. The results are as follows:

Judy Hamilton, President

Kathy Roskos, Vice President

Max Daugherty, Treasurer

Debra Whitt, Secretary

Board Members:

David Roskos, Board Seat 1

Marion Debusk, Board Seat 2

Betty Mack, Board Seat 3

I want to also thank the members of our 2016 board for their service, especially David Roskos who has served as our Treasurer for many years, Max Daugherty who took on the extraordinary task of Secretary as a member new to the NFB, Lenora McGowan and Reginald Howard, who lent support, when able, despite challenges during the year. Kathy Roskos and Marion DeBusk were constantly supportive in taking on responsibilities last year despite school and travel at great distance. I am so grateful to all of our members; new and continuing and I value every one for their contributions.

We now have 13 chapter members and I look forward to continue the work to build a firm foundation for the Gainesville chapter in the community and working with the affiliate. Let’s continue to build the NFB and the NFB FL!
